Started back in 1922 by a Swiss family, the label has grown to include couture clothing for women that transcends borders. Designer Albert Kriemler creates fashion for women with charisma. The other Akris Clothing line, the designer sportswear line called Akris Punto, was launched in 1996.
Double face is the specialty of Akris, which means the material has two right sides. Both material layers are connected by a invisible seam; a great mark of fine construction on any garment. They pride themselves that a jacket could be worn inside out; it looks that good!
